# Do I need technical skills to use AskFunnel?

> You do not need to code. Here is what helps you get the most out of AskFunnel.

You do not need any coding skills to use AskFunnel. It is built for marketers, agency owners and business owners who want to focus on getting leads, and you build and launch funnels in a visual editor. If you can sketch a short questionnaire on paper, you can build a funnel.

## What helps

* **Knowing your customer:** If you know which questions qualify a lead, such as budget, timeline or needs, you are already equipped. A funnel turns the conversation you would have by phone into questions people answer on their own. With branching, a person's answer can decide which step they see next.
* **Comfort with everyday web tools:** If you have used a website builder or a business app, you will feel at home. You add questions, change colors and arrange steps with a few clicks.
* **Willingness to follow a setup guide:** A few tasks involve copying and pasting, for example connecting [your own domain](/funnel-settings/custom-domain) or adding a tracking pixel (a small piece of code that reports visits to an ad platform) such as [Meta Pixel](/integrations/meta-pixel). You do not need to be an IT expert. You only need to follow the steps in the guide.
